Domestic Forest ( “I am just going to leave this here…”)

Domestic Forest that consist of an ongoing series of sculptures installed throughout the 10km escarpment trails that bisect the city of Hamilton Ontario.

Through inserting constructed art objects into a symbiotic relationship with the natural environment, I am acknowledging the history of our urban greenspace, stimulating dialogue around shifts in human behavior towards our shared ecology, and acknowledging how our human presence impacts local ecologies.

This project has been funded by the Ontario Arts Council.
