Bronze
Wildlife (2) was commissioned by the City of Thunder Bay for installation on Algoma Street South. The sculpture consists of two bronze figures, one standing and one seated, appearing to be citizens leisurely going about their day. Upon inspection the figures reveal themselves to be composed of squirrels, bears, ducks, deer, and other animals native to Thunder Bay working together to appear human. Humorously referencing cartoon clichés, this sculpture invites a thoughtful reflection on our relationship to nature.
